Dummy. The spring for feeding BBs is insanely strong, while the lock spring is ridiculously weak. I'll add that the first magazine they sent me was missing the upper latch. It throws all the BBs out of the magazine with just a slight tap on the back surface of the magazine, even when loaded with only one BB. I fixed it myself but it took me 45 minutes: I had to trim a stronger spring to size and then force it in, but now it works. Definitely not recommended unless as a dummy for decorative gun purposes, because it might be useful in that role.

With the HI-CAP magazine replica, replaced with this model and now the fun is great, it works perfectly. Holds fewer BBs, but for me that's an advantage (just like the real G36). No jams.
