A 30 mm diameter main tube purged with dry nitrogen and sealed with O-rings provides protection against internal lens fogging, in addition to making the scope resistant to rain, dust, and impact.

Measurement memory, alarm function
For optimal performance, regular calibration of the device is advised every 6–12 months or following 500 uses, whichever occurs sooner. Up to 10 of the most recent measurement results are retained in the device's memory.
Equipped with an integrated alarm function, the breathalyzer issues a warning if the allowed alcohol threshold of 0.20 ‰ is surpassed. A backlit LCD display provides clear visibility for testing even in low-light environments and delivers test results with precision up to two decimal points.
Power supply
Powered by two 1.5 VAAA batteries, the device features an automatic shut-off system, turning itself off after 20 seconds of inactivity or 30 seconds following a measurement.

As for the measurement, it seems rather accurate although we're not completely sure, because when buying it from Militaria store, you don't get a calibration certificate, which you do at other stores including the manufacturer's store. Therefore, after purchase I recommend sending the device for calibration and then the total cost will be higher than on the manufacturer's website.
