It works. The scissors fray the thread terribly—it's hard to get it into the needle. The needles themselves break when trying to sew a button onto ripstop fabric, not to mention something thicker. The case is nice. Generally, after replacing the needles with normal ones instead of plasticine, you get a very nice set for emergencies, as long as you have a knife with you—the scissors are useless, as I mentioned above.
