Bestech Knives Operator Folding Knife - Black

Light EDC folder (Every Day Carry). The blade has been crafted with a flat grind, ensuring excellent cutting capabilities while maintaining high durability.

D2 tool steel, Black Stonewash finish

The Wharncliffe profile blade is made from abrasion-resistant high-carbon D2 tool steel hardened to 59-61 HRC. The upper part of the blade is finished with the Black Stonewash method, giving a matte effect. The lower part is finished with satin finishing, achieving a semi-matte effect.

thumb hole, ceramic bearings, Liner-Lock

The knife's easy opening is facilitated by the thumb hole and flipper, which also serves as a guard to protect the hand from slipping onto the blade. The opening process has been improved by the use of ceramic bearings on the knife's main axis. The Liner-Lock secures the blade in the open position.

G10 laminate, lanyard hole

The ergonomically contoured handle scales are made of black G10 laminate, with a rough texture that ensures a secure grip in any condition. The hole at the end of the handle allows for threading a lanyard to prevent loss.

steel tip-up clip

Everyday convenient carrying is ensured by a springy, steel tip-up clip that allows for easy attachment of the knife to a belt or pocket edge.

D2 feature
D2
D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Stonewash feature
Stonewash
Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Due to its durability, discreet appearance, and ease of maintenance, stonewash is popular in EDC, field, and tactical knives.
