Folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife equipped with a Sheepfoot blade crafted from high-carbon D2 tool steel, known for its outstanding resistance to wear. The blade features a satin finish. The handle is constructed from lightweight, highly durable, and weather-resistant G10 laminate. Secure operation is provided by the Liner Lock mechanism.
D2 Tool steel
The Sheepfoot blade is crafted from high-carbon D2 tool steel, recognized as semi-stainless for its notable resistance to corrosion. Enhanced with vanadium and a generous amount of chromium, the blade offers outstanding abrasion resistance, guaranteeing prolonged sharpness over time. With a hardness rating of 58-61 HRC, the steel displays increased durability and superior resistance to wear. Featuring a satin finish, the blade achieves a semi-matte appearance that effectively minimizes glare.
G10 laminate handle and spring clip
Featuring a contoured and ergonomic handle crafted from G10 laminate, this material offers excellent resistance to damage and adverse weather. A lanyard hole is located at the end of the handle for added convenience. The grip surface boasts a non-slip texture, while an index finger cutout with serrations enhances control and security. Outfitted with a spring-loaded steel clip, the knife can be conveniently carried in a pocket in the tip-up orientation.
Liner lock
Deployment of the blade is achieved via a flipper, with the action enhanced by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the main pivot. Secure blade lockup is provided by a liner lock system. Jimping is positioned on the back of the blade, at the thumb rest, to facilitate greater control during use.
