Jimping (notches) is located on the spine of the blade, where the thumb rests, to facilitate control over the blade while making cuts. The knife is opened using a thumb stud on both sides, which allows for easy one-handed opening. Additionally, it is equipped with ceramic ball bearings, which ensure smooth blade deployment, enhancing user comfort. The blade is locked in place by a sliding B-Lock mechanism.

14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.

The B-Lock mechanism is Bestech's proprietary solution, inspired by the Axis Lock design. It uses a steel strip that slides in the handle guides to lock the blade pin, and is released by pulling the strip back on both sides of the knife. Thanks to springs, the system works smoothly and can be operated with one hand by both right- and left-handed users.

G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.

Stonewash is a blade finishing technique that involves treating steel in a drum filled with stones, ceramic abrasives, or beads. The impact of the material creates a characteristic, irregular pattern with micro-scratches, giving the effect of a matte, slightly “aged” surface with a raw, practical appearance. The finish gives the knife an aesthetic look and masks minor scratches and marks that occur during use, keeping the blade looking like new for longer. The matte texture reduces light reflections, which is valued in tactical and outdoor knives, and the micro-scratches can further reduce friction during cutting. Titanized in Bestech knives is a protective coating applied using the PVD method, which uses titanium compounds such as titanium nitride (TiN) or titanium oxide (TiO2). This process takes place in a vacuum and produces a thin, extremely hard layer with high resistance to abrasion and corrosion. The coating gives the blade a matte finish, reduces reflections, and emphasizes the aesthetics of the knife. It is also available in various colors. Thanks to its durability, it extends the life of the blade and facilitates its maintenance without negatively affecting its cutting properties.

    Nicely made and very well fitted, vibrant colors (very good, for a try) because I tend to lose knives! For a Chinese product at this price, it really looks nice, it is very light, which I am not really used to; you see it but don't feel it in your hand, like a feather. It also opens smoothly and quietly, no kick or click, you don't know if the lock has engaged, BUT it does engage and holds firmly, I tested it. The blade needs some sharpening, as it's not great, but that's what a sharpener is for. The grip is secure, warm, and the texture provides some support, it doesn't slip. Maybe a bit too gentle, but still, it's useful.

    A very comfortable knife made of good steel, with an almost full flat grind so it cuts brilliantly. The B-lock and bearings make you want to keep clicking endlessly. The clip is quite stiff, single-position and bent so the knife barely sticks out of your pocket. The thumb stud is tall and fairly sharp to make opening easier. There is no lanyard hole, but there is a special pin to which you can attach a fob or leash. The matte handle scales provide a good grip. If you are looking for the perfect knife for EDC, this one is spot on.
