Boker BRLW Meteorite Damast Platinum Edition Folding Knife - Silver

Folding knife EDC (Every Day Carry - for everyday carry) with a blade length of 65 mm and Clip-Point profile. The folder will work well for everyday tasks and outdoor activities. The handle made of titanium features a Frame Lock. The design is inspired by Barlow-type folding knives originating from 17th-century England.

Clip-Point blade, flat grind

The knife is equipped with a sturdy Clip-Point profile blade made from pattern-welded damast with a well-visible distinct pattern. The hand-forged blade is finished with a flat grind, which, combined with the small blade thickness, ensures good cutting properties.

Titanium cladding, spring clip

Textured handle scales are made of damage-resistant Titanium. At the end of the grip, there's a hole for a security lanyard or keychain. Comfortable everyday carry is facilitated by a titanium spring clip that allows the knife to be attached to a belt, pocket edge, or other accouterment.

Flipper, Frame Lock

At the base of the blade, there's a flipper that enables quick and convenient one-handed knife opening. Once fully opened, it sits flush with the scales. The use of a ceramic ball bearing aids opening and ensures smooth motion. In the open position, the blade is locked with a Frame Lock, ensuring safety during knife usage.

Titanium feature
Titanium

A lightweight and extremely durable metal, resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. In knives it is used in the manufacture of handles, clips or locks, making the whole structure sturdy, yet lighter than steel. In flashlights it is used for housings - it provides high resistance to impacts, scratches and weather conditions, while reducing the weight of equipment carried every day. Titanium is also hypoallergenic and bio-neutral, so it is used in travelware and eyeglass frames.

Damast feature
Damast
Damascus steel is a composite material created by combining multiple layers of different types of steel with varying properties. Repeated forging and welding creates a structure with high strength, flexibility, and hardness. Layers with a higher carbon content are responsible for the sharpness and durability of the edges, while nickel alloy steel increases corrosion resistance and provides a contrasting pattern. After etching the surface, a unique, wavy pattern characteristic of each piece is revealed. Thanks to its combination of functional and aesthetic properties, Damascus steel is used in premium knives, bladed weapons, and collector's knives.
Carbon Fiber feature
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Used in knife handles, it provides high resistance to mechanical damage, is not affected by moisture or extreme temperatures, and is chemically inert and non-conductive. It is distinguished by its characteristic layered weave, which gives each handle a unique appearance, particularly valued in premium knives.
