I confirm the second opinion: the shape of the blade, its length, and its mass make it easy to handle, it doesn't slip out of your hand, and it's not too heavy. As for the handle, there is some room for improvement. It's quite angular and riveted like a kitchen knife—screws would be better. Additionally, in my piece, the finish was lacking—I filed down some burrs with a metal file. The handle scales are a bit larger than the metal between them, so there's a noticeable step—I file it down myself. Plus for the fact that it's a full tang! A small minus for the handle and the lack of a wrist cord like the Gerber Gator Bush has. I would rate it more as 4+.
Robust machete inspired by the shape of Nepalese combat knives. Ideally suited for clearing vegetation, constructing camps, and performing demanding tasks in the field.
The blade with a recurve/kukri profile is crafted from 420 stainless steel, known for its excellent corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening, even in outdoor conditions. An anti-reflective black coating provides additional protection against rust and minimizes cutting drag.
Ergonomically contoured handle scales are made from wood and secured to the tang with brass pins. A hole at the end of the handle allows for attaching a lanyard for added safety.
A nylon sheath compatible with belt carry is included for secure storage and transport of the machete.

Thanks to the slightly curved blade profile, it nicely gathers the cut branches. The handle is comfortable, and the widened base provides good protection against slipping. The included sheath is a plus.
