Boker Plus Hermod Folder
Folding knife crafted from premium D2 steel, renowned for its exceptional strength and hardness. The model draws its name from the Norse deity Hermod, son of Odin. Dirk Hofmeister from Midgards Messer is credited with its design.
D2 tool steel, ball bearings, stonewash
A broad blade featuring a Drop-Point profile is set on ball bearings to provide exceptionally smooth deployment. Crafted from high-carbon D2 tool steel, the blade delivers outstanding cutting performance and remarkable resistance to wear. For enhanced blade control during use, a deep jimping (notching) is located on the spine where the thumb naturally rests. The blade’s surface is finished with the Stonewash technique, resulting in a matte appearance. A practical fuller runs along both sides of the blade, acting as a nail groove for easy opening of the knife.
G10 handle, double locking, lanyard hole
A deeply textured handle crafted from G10 laminate ensures a secure grip, minimizing the risk of hand slippage even in wet environments. The knife incorporates two effective locking mechanisms: a Liner Lock and an additional shank designed as a screw that screws into the blade through the handle scales. The secondary lock reduces strain on the main lock and fully safeguards against accidental closure, even during demanding tasks. A lanyard hole positioned at the handle’s end allows for the attachment of a cord or key ring. Enhanced with a robust tip-up pocket clip, the knife offers reliable carry for outdoor use.
