The knife is generally fine, but nothing to rave about. The aluminum handle gives it a high-end look, but it's slippery—I wouldn't risk driving the knife in with a lot of force because my hand could slip onto the blade... Besides that, the knife has one odd feature: right after opening, the blade doesn't lock firmly in the "open" position; you can feel a bit of play at the tip (about 2mm). Only after two or three cuts (as if pressing it in) does the construction become completely stiff. The clip seems very stiff, it takes a lot of force to bend, so you could easily tear a pocket.
Boker Plus Kihon DC Alu Folding Knife
Folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife featuring a Drop-Point blade, crafted by acclaimed American knifemaker Lucas Burnley. Outfitted with a blade composed of Nitro-V stainless steel, the knife is paired with a durable aluminum handle. A practical steel clip ensures easy and secure everyday carry.
Nitro-V stainless steel, jimping, flat grind
Equipped with a 82 mm long blade featuring a Drop-Point shape, this knife utilizes premium Nitro-V stainless steel—an enhanced form of AEB-L. The inclusion of nitrogen and vanadium delivers superior strength, hardness, and excellent corrosion resistance. The blade’s spine incorporates jimping for improved cutting precision. A flat grind edge and a satin finish complete the blade's robust design.
bearing blade, Crossbar Lock
Deployment of the bearing blade is facilitated by a double-sided thumb stud, ensuring smooth ambidextrous operation for both right- and left-handed users. The robust sliding lock, known as the Crossbar Lock, securely prevents the tool from closing during use and accidental deployment while carried.
aluminum handle, cord hole, deep-carry clip
Rugged aluminum is used for the handle scales, ensuring lasting durability. Blue-anodized rings decorate the pivot screw and grip, adding a distinctive visual touch. A cord hole is located at the handle’s end, allowing for the attachment of a lanyard or strap. A reliable two-position (right- or left-side) spring steel deep-carry clip secures the blade for tip-up carry.

The knife is great. I am happy with the purchase and can recommend it without any hesitation. The silver color gives it an elegant look, and the knife can be carried as an EDC, with a suit, or as a backup in a survival kit. It is solidly made, comes to us sharp, and in a tasteful box. The lock is quite strong, but as someone who has been using a liner lock, I had to get used to this new lock. It only took one day. The clip for carrying on a belt or in a pocket is very stiff, which is an advantage because the knife will not fall out on its own, but when pulling it out, for example from a pocket, you need to use a bit of force. The handle scales are quite slippery, but this doesn't interfere with everyday tasks. The knife is simple but at the same time elegant. I highly recommend it to everyone looking for a good knife for everyday use.
