Boker Plus spring-assisted knife, OTF (Out The Front) model, features a blade that extends straight out from the handle via a spring mechanism.
Forged from stainless D2 steel, the Clip Point blade is renowned for its impressive hardness and excellent resistance to corrosion. A high flat grind and a stonewash finish give the blade its distinctive look and performance.
Blade deployment is effortlessly achieved by pushing the slider forward, positioned at the handle’s end. Retracting the slider tensions the spring and safely retracts the blade back into the handle.
The handle is ergonomically contoured and crafted from matte 6061-T6 aluminum with a durable black anodized coating. Precision milling on the handle’s surface ensures a firm grip, even in wet or dirty conditions.
A lanyard or cord can be threaded through the hole located at the base of the handle for added versatility.
ATTENTION—Despite popular misconceptions, spring knives are fully legal to purchase, possess, and carry. Polish law imposes no restrictions concerning opening mechanisms, blade shape, or blade length. However, regulations in other countries may limit or ban the carrying of certain types of knives—be sure to familiarize yourself with local laws if traveling abroad.

Boker is a German knife manufacturer with a tradition dating back to the 17th century, known for its distinctive chestnut tree logo – “Tree Brand.” In 1830, the company was already producing up to 2000 sabers per week, which were sent to battlefields across Europe. In the 19th century, it expanded its operations to the US, Canada, and Mexico, establishing recognizable subsidiaries. Today, the main factory in Solingen specializes in handcrafted collector's and utility knives, including those made of steel recovered from historical objects such as the Tripitz battleship. The brand offers four lines: Boker Manufaktur Solingen, Boker Plus, Magnum, and Arbolito. Boker products are valued by collectors, uniformed services, and chefs around the world.

Quite a good knife, the blade is definitely smaller than a thumb, a small thing, satisfactorily made although the blade wobbles a bit – I stress, only a little. Despite this, I consider it a very interesting gift idea, useful and nicely packaged.

Very nice and handy little one – a knife to keep in your pocket or with your keys just in case, although for me it comes in handy surprisingly often :) There's a very slight looseness in the blade in all directions, but I suppose many OTFs have that – I can't be sure as this is my first one :) Still, it's very comfortable to use and looks nice too.

No clip – I solved it with a Nite Ize HipClip and epoxy glue for metal. Of course, after removing the adhesive tape from the clip. The clip will break before the glue fails. This solution looks like in the photos. Beside that, good quality and mechanically sound OTF. I will buy another one.

My first ...and definitely not my last OTF. A tiny crazy thing, perfect not just as an accessory but also as a good little handy tool. Highly recommend.

A nice clicker for pennies. If someone dreams about the legendary Microtech but the budget doesn't allow, this is the perfect solution. Useful in practice, but a bit too small. Perfect for fun.

Nice OTF. My copy was quite dull from the factory and makes a strange soft sound when closing (something like a tuning fork). I sharpened it, and now it cuts as it should. The fidget factor is out of this world!

A nice little one for shorts in the summer. Beautiful click. It's a pity there's no clip, but you can live without it, you can hang it on your keys. The blade cuts quite well right out of the box.

Cool, pocket-sized clicker made from household materials.

In my opinion, finally, an almost perfect knife for keys. For me, mini knives like flippers or similar were problematic to open and close when attached to a bunch of keys. It always requires attention. In this case, it's easy to separate the knife from the rest of the attached gadgets and open/close it with one move, even with gloves on. The blade could be a bit longer for everyday use – but maybe another size will be made. To sum up, perfect for keys. Mine is taped up.
