You can feel the Japanese vibe in this project. Combined with these materials, it creates a quite successful whole. I enjoyed using it and I am happy to come back to it.

Practical, folding EDC knife inspired by classic Higonokami blades, originally crafted in the Japanese city of Miki since 1896.
Equipped with a Wharncliffe style blade, forged from high-carbon 440C stainless steel. Secure locking is provided by the Slip Joint mechanism. The blade features a combination of satin finish and partial blackening to accentuate its contours, with a flat grind along the cutting edge.
Handle scales are flat and crafted from bronze with a rugged Stonewash finish. A lanyard/cord hole is incorporated into the handle design.

The knife will remain in my collection despite a certain drawback. On the plus side, the design and the blade made of stainless steel are very good. On the downside, the lock does not smoothly engage behind the blade and sometimes you have to help it with your finger so the blade doesn't snap back. Maybe it will break in over time.

Great knife from Böker modeled after the traditional Higonokami knives made in the Japanese city of Miki. Good 440C steel and a frame lock—an excellent little knife.
