I've had these glasses for a while and this insert really does the job. After inserting prescription lenses, you don't have to fiddle with wearing regular glasses under the goggles, so it's much more comfortable. The thin frame means that when used with Combat glasses, it doesn't 'block' the field of vision too much. There were some minor problems finding an optician willing to exchange the lenses, but eventually it worked out. I recommend it.

The insert is indeed made of metal, but it is very thin. Not every optical salon will agree to install corrective lenses in it. I think the product should be offered at a lower price.
