The jacket is very warm. It's a variation on the Bundeswehr parka, without most of the flaws of the original. Nice cut, very thick lining (unfortunately, after removing it, it rather resembles a bag), adjustable waist. Spacious hood, also with a lining. Made from cotton with a weave similar to the original, which, after being impregnated, copes well with rain/snow. The material is fairly breathable and lets air through. This product is rather for frosty weather. A successful purchase, I recommend it.
