Great, durable, and functional jacket for the transitional period. On colder days, I recommend wearing a warm fleece under it. It provides excellent protection from the wind, and the fabric is very durable, making it suitable even for forest use.
Brandit Performance Outdoor Jacket - Woodland
Robust and insulated outdoor jacket featuring a Woodland camouflage pattern. Constructed with a water-repellent 900D nylon exterior and reinforced 500D Cordura elbow panels for added durability. The interior is lined with polyester for comfort.
YKK zipper, snap strip, adjustable cuffs
A durable two-way YKK zipper serves as the primary closure for the jacket. An additional storm flap secured with snaps offers improved heat retention beneath the jacket and shields against harsh wind. The flap also blocks the zipper from being jammed by dirt, dust, sand accumulation, or even ice and snow buildup. Further insulation is provided through adjustable cuffs and drawstrings at both the waist and hem of the jacket. The Performance Outdoor Jacket features an adjustable hood with drawstring, which can be conveniently detached via a zipper.
numerous practical pockets
The jacket features four spacious cargo pouches—two at hip level, one on the chest, and one on the shoulder. Two flat zippered pockets—one on the chest and one on the right forearm—are designed to hold smaller accessories. Inside the jacket, there is a large zippered pocket.
MOLLE straps
Enhanced outdoor versatility is achieved through stitched straps compatible with the MOLLE mounting system. These straps enable secure attachment of an extra pouch, organizer, compact first aid kit, or a carabiner for keys.
protector pocket, velcro panels
Elbow reinforcements crafted from 500D Cordura are equipped with pockets designed for the insertion of extra protectors. Velcro panels on the shoulders and chest enable customization of the jacket with a name tag or morale patches.

Woodland camouflage
Woodland, often referred to as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a renowned camouflage design adopted by the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, evolving from the earlier ERDL camo pattern. Serving as the standard camouflage for over twenty years, M81 remained the primary choice of the US military until the late 2000s. Distinguished by its large, irregular blotches in hues of green, brown, beige, and black, the pattern offers superior concealment and outline distortion, particularly suited to forested terrain. Owing to its proven effectiveness and worldwide recognition, numerous adaptations have emerged, incorporated by over 60 military and law enforcement uniforms globally. Further extending its influence, Woodland has significantly shaped popular culture, transitioning from military settings to civilian fashion trends.

The jacket is perfect for the spring-autumn season – it effectively protects against wind, although it does not provide much protection against the cold. It works well down to temperatures of -5°C, provided you wear a warm layer underneath. It is equipped with numerous pockets, sturdy zippers, and a functional hood with a visor – after applying waterproofing spray, it also handles rain very well, staying dry.

I fell in love with this jacket. Solid material that protects against wind and loss of body heat. Amazing number and arrangement of pockets on the jacket's surface. Solid Velcro and zippers. Highly recommended.
-
This is a very good jacket – it is characterized by stiff material and lots of pockets, which makes it extremely practical. It has a solid, neck-fastening hood and is waterproof, which makes it an ideal choice for winter. For extra warmth, I recommend wearing it with a warm sweatshirt.
-
Very nice jacket, but not for winter. It's a pity that it doesn't have insulation. The quality and craftsmanship are very good. If it had insulation, I would definitely keep it.
-
I am satisfied with the purchase. Lots of pockets, possibility to adjust to your figure thanks to drawstrings. I am 190 cm tall, weigh 98 kg, and size XXL is OK. I will put a fleece underneath and use it in winter.

I bought the jacket some time ago, so I can say a bit about it. It is very durable against tears and abrasions, having come into contact with bushes and branches more than once. During windy weather, putting on the hood with a visor makes the wind harmless. On cold days (+3 degrees), a long-sleeve thermal shirt under the jacket is enough. Large velcro panels will fit any patch. The front mole straps allow you to attach a small pouch. As for the material, it is quite stiff, but that doesn't bother me. I recommend it to those who are undecided.

This is not a jacket – it's armor ;) When you walk into the woods, it's not you who's afraid of tearing or ripping your jacket, it's the trees that are afraid you'll tear them up with this jacket :) Cordura does its job. No thorns, burs, or pinecones will scare you. However, with durability unfortunately comes significant stiffness, and stiffness at this level can be very tiresome and simply uncomfortable. As long as you're just walking, everything is fine. Comfort issues appear when you have to bend down for something or sit. Its length also contributes to this discomfort. Lots of pockets, though their depth is disappointing. The main zipper is equipped with two sliders, so you can open the jacket from both the top and bottom – with such stiffness, it's a life-saver. On the other hand, I’m totally puzzled by the reversed location of the zippers. On the overwhelming majority of zippered clothing, sliders are on the left side of the tape, but here they’re on the right. A strange solution, especially for a right-handed person. The jacket material is windproof. I don't know if it’s exceptionally waterproof – I walked in the rain but only for a relatively short time. It didn’t soak through. There's no insulation, so this is an outer layer resistant to damage, but on cold days you need to wear something warm underneath.

Fantastic jacket. Suitable for spring and autumn, without insulation. It's a shell-type material, so it's not exactly soft. But it gives a great feeling of being protected from the wind, rain, and whatever else is outside. The zippers, attachments, pockets, and ventilations are very well thought out. Finishing is top class, usually reserved for brands like Diesel. Definitely worth the price, and if it's on sale, it’s a sin not to get it if you’re looking for a jacket. I definitely recommend it.
-
I have already tested it twice in the mountains during difficult wind and rain with snow conditions. The jacket handles it well. It doesn't soak through and maintains thermal comfort. At first, it's as stiff as a truck tarpaulin, but by the second use it's totally OK. I am very satisfied. I'm 170 cm tall, 106 cm in the chest and size S is perfect. I recommend it.
-
Good jacket, very functional and solid, worth its price, nice cut. Too thin for harsh winter conditions, it's ok down to -5°C. For lower temperatures, you need to dress well underneath.
-
Solidly made jacket, matches the description and is functional (pockets). The two drawstrings do their job for wind protection. I think the price reflects the quality. I can’t judge durability yet, but judging by the fabric quality, it should be fine for 5-6 years. I recommend it!
-
Strong Velcro, solid material. The jacket is comfortable and fairly warm. Better to wear it rather in spring or autumn. It also works in winter, but with a proper insulated sweatshirt.
-
The jacket is really stiff. It does not let moisture through. The sizing is surprisingly accurate. Looks great. Well sewn. Very good quality zipper. Definitely not a winter jacket! It does not have insulation. With a warm fleece underneath, you can withstand down to -5°C in it.
