The sole guarantees good grip on various types of surfaces. At first, the shoes slightly rubbed my feet, but after a short time they broke in and adjusted to the shape of my feet—since then, they have been super comfortable and do not cause chafing. A plus is the lack of logo or any other type of branding on the outside of the shoe, just a pure, raw look.

Trying to explain the sizing issue, since there is a lot of different info online... For me, these shoes are so great that in the end I ordered two matching pairs. These are probably my fourth pair of boots in my life and they are definitely the best. The photos can be misleading—I had doubts myself—but the actual look of the matte leather is fantastic, and the toes are not too raised, which is a plus for me. My foot is 275 mm and I ordered a size up, i.e. 44 (insole 299) and the optimal size, 43 (insole about 289); both fit well, although honestly I prefer the comfort of the larger size. They don't feel too loose; there's just the right amount of space. PS: I'm not part of any subculture, I just have a weakness for heavy work boots. I sincerely recommend, don't even hesitate!
