Today, for the first time, I wore these boots on a longer trip into the high mountains. The sole absorbs shocks very well, and the boots themselves are exceptionally comfortable — even after many hours of hiking, the comfort remains at a very high level. On top of that, they offer really good ventilation. Moving on to the downsides: during rain, even though I waterproofed them myself, after walking for a longer time through wet grass, I noticed slight moisture around the toes. It was not major soaking, rather just a slight dampness. In dry conditions, however, I rate them 10/10. As for durability, it is still too early to give a full opinion. I definitely recommend choosing a larger size — just as others suggested, that turned out to be a very good decision. I normally wear size 45, and I have a fairly wide foot, which is why I chose 46. I would gladly buy them again.
