Long-length parka jacket in Navy, crafted from a premium cotton and nylon blend. Featuring a distinctive back slit, commonly referred to as a fishtail, inspired by the iconic design of the M51 model once utilized by the US Army.

Enhanced with extra insulation, the jacket features a thermal liner crafted from 100% durable nylon and insulated with polyester padding. The liner extends into the sleeves and is secured to the jacket using buttons at the neck and along the sleeves.

Equipped with a large hood featuring adjustable settings and four spacious pockets, the jacket excels in functionality. Two Napoleonic-style pockets situated at the waist level secure with durable snaps, ensuring easy access to essential gear. I am 188cm tall, weigh 103kg, and have a chest circumference of about 125-130cm. Size XL fits perfectly. I received the jacket in the color 'camel' instead of 'coyote'. I'm not returning it; I actually like this color more. One star less for the stitching, as if someone drunk got to the machine. A lot of loose threads and uneven seams. The jacket is rather for above-freezing temperatures; I'm not surprised there were so many cases of Americans freezing during the Korean War.

The US Army M51 military parka is a great addition and fits true to size. I really liked the removable lining and the adjustable cuffs. My only complaint is about the very stiff zipper. Overall, I am very satisfied, if only the zipper wasn't so poor.

The jacket is made of decent materials, spacious, but the lining is just a shadow of what you'd find in a real parka – it's very thin!... It might be suitable up to 5 degrees. Definitely not for wind and snow, unless you plan to wear another jacket underneath.
