Engineered for effortless nighttime surveillance, the thermal imaging monocular delivers variable optical magnification from 1.8x to 3.3x. Enhanced precision is ensured by digital zoom capability ranging from 1x to 4x, enabling detection of targets at distances up to 500 meters. Outfitted with Wi-Fi connectivity, the BTH19 V2 permits integration with devices such as a smartphone via the BurrisConnect App, facilitating external display functionality and remote unit operation.
Durable and ergonomic body
Constructed from lightweight and durable plastic, the thermal imager features a sealed housing designed for robust outdoor use. An ergonomically contoured design combined with an intuitive layout of the control buttons guarantees ease and comfort during operation. Operational temperature range spans -10 to +50 degrees.
LCOS display, Picture in Picture mode
Fitted with a color LCOS display offering a 1280 x 960 pixel resolution, the device presents images at 400 x 300 pixels. A 50 Hz refresh rate ensures smooth viewing of moving targets. Operators can fine-tune brightness and contrast across a 10-step scale. Featuring a premium 19 mm F1.0 lens, the unit delivers sharp, high-clarity visuals and incorporates Picture in Picture functionality. 5 image display modes
The thermal imager offers five distinct image display modes, enhancing object detection and identification during observation:
- White Hot – heat sources appear in white or light gray tones.
- Black Hot – warmer objects are represented in black or dark gray shades.
- Green Hot – areas of higher temperature are shown in lighter green hues.
- Blue Hot – cooler areas are depicted in blue or dark blue, while hotter targets display red and yellow shades.
- Red Hot – heat signatures are highlighted in red for quick identification.
Wi-Fi module
The BTH19 V2 is equipped with a feature for storing photos and videos on a memory card. Files saved can be transferred to a computer via a USB cable or sent directly to a phone or tablet through the built-in Wi-Fi module. This functionality makes it possible to use a phone with the BurrisConnect App as an external monitor or for remote operation of the device.
Battery power supply
Equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, the thermal imager is conveniently charged via a USB-C cable. A single charge provides up to 5 hours of continuous operation. Additionally, uninterrupted use is possible by connecting an external power source—such as a powerbank—to the USB-C port.
