description

Flint with a set of accessories that make it easier to start a fire outdoors. The replaceable ferrocerium rod generates a shower of sparks with a temperature of up to 3000 deg C.

The ferrocerium flint generates sparks when the flint rod is vigorously scraped with the sharp edge of the striker. The sparks, falling onto previously prepared tinder, can create a flame even during severe frost or heavy rain.

The telescopic blowpipe and stearin-soaked tinder make it easier to start a fire. The flint handle with tinder container is made of anodized aluminum. It can be screwed together with the blowpipe, which makes transport easier and additionally protects the ferrocerium rod. The set also includes a striker with a ruler and a bottle opener in the form of a serrated metal plate.

Included in the set:
- ferrocerium rod,
- handle,
- stearin-soaked tinder,
- striker with ruler and bottle opener,
- telescopic blowpipe for lighting a campfire 15-60 cm,
- tinder,
- carabiner,
- case.

Review for model:

Clever, but in my experience—so-so, especially for the price: the firestarter is average, the striker even more so, and the tube has a bulky mouthpiece (because it's threaded)—which is not nice in the cold! I tried it, but I still prefer a good separate firestarter and a tube, which is really useful! (even if it’s from an old antenna)

Review for model:

A firestarter like any other, always worth having on hand, but with this we have a collapsible tube that makes lighting a fire much easier. I recommend it.
