I am delighted with the features of this monocular. Thanks to the high magnification, I can see details I used to miss before. I use it both for outdoor observation and at concerts. Definitely worth its price!
Bushnell Legend 10x42 Ultra HD Monocular Tan
Bushnell Legend 10x42 Ultra HD TAN Monocular boasts full waterproofing and is crafted from premium-grade materials. Outfitted with a Picatinny rail, compatibility with a range of equipment—such as carbines, helmets, or tactical headgear—is assured. Knob-based quick and precise focus adjustment is positioned next to the eyepiece for maximum convenience, while an adjustable eyecup further enhances user comfort. Robust build and complete sealing guarantee dependable performance in challenging environments, including rain, fog, or dust. Compact size and lightweight design ensure high mobility and ease of use during extended observation sessions.
Advanced optical system
Featuring an optical system that utilizes ED glass (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses, superior image resolution and contrast are achieved while chromatic aberration is significantly suppressed. Every air-to-glass surface is treated with multi-layer FMC (Fully Multi-Coated) anti-reflection coatings along with an advanced Ultra Wide Band coating, ensuring minimal light loss and delivering exceptional image brightness, even under low-light conditions.
External surfaces of the lenses are shielded by a hydrophobic RainGuard coating, allowing for clear observation during rain or in adverse weather environments. Performance is further enhanced by PC-3 coatings on roof prisms, which provide excellent color accuracy, increased contrast, and improved sharpness of the image.
Waterproof construction, rubber armor
Featuring an ergonomic, waterproof housing, the monocular is engineered for durability in harsh environments. Its external lenses are safeguarded by a hydrophobic RainGuard HD coating, which minimizes water and fog accumulation, allowing clear viewing even during rainfall. Built to comply with Water Proof standards, the tube is filled with dry nitrogen and sealed with o-rings to prevent internal lens fogging, as well as to ensure resistance against dust, precipitation, and brief submersion. The ergonomic rubber armor offers both shock resistance and a secure hold, while the integrated Mil-Hash type reticle further enhances operational capabilities.

Very good image, well-made monocular.
-
Very nice glass. Sharp and brightens well in the evening. I tested it on willow leaves with a slight glow from a streetlamp at a distance of about 200 m. The pouch could be a bit better, but overall we’re buying the glass, not the packaging. It has a reticle (the black version does not). In summary, 5/5.

Monocular is okay.

High quality glass. Very good brightness and sharpness.

After more than a year of use, I can confirm that the Bushnell monocular is excellent and worth its price!! I use it at the shooting range, it’s always with me and comes in handy!! Although it is a professional and unfortunately expensive device, I RECOMMEND it to everyone!!
-
A handy monocular built like a tank, waterproof!! The build quality and glass are impressive, unfortunately it also has its price but it’s worth it. Mil-Hash reticle (equivalent of Mil-Dot), focus adjustment with one finger, lens caps/covers included, the body has a loop for a cord, belt clip, tripod thread, and mini Picatinny rail/mount. Sold with a case, the case only has a belt loop, NO MOLLE!! In my opinion, it’s 5/5. I RECOMMEND IT!!

It worked well in the field. Worth its price.

The image seen through the monocular is exceptionally sharp and bright. Near the edges, blurring is visible—about 10% of the field. In monocular rankings, it would definitely be among the leaders. And yes, it's expensive, but good optics have always been valued. It definitely takes up less space than binoculars, but it's way too big to be called pocket-sized. The objective lens cover is fine. The eyepiece cover, however, doesn't stay on at all and often falls off. The actual weight of the monocular itself is 397 grams, and with the case, 494 grams. Probably not for the mountains.

I haven't used this type of equipment before, so it's hard to give a fair assessment, but the quality is very good. The image is very clear and zooms nicely. I don't know how it compares to the price, hence the 4.
