The sleeping bag’s interior is insulated with lightweight synthetic G-Loft fiber, delivering reliable thermal comfort. Thanks to its advanced design, the insulation preserves warmth even after exposure to moisture, repeated washing, or heavy use. An integrated Thermoflect layer enhances thermal efficiency by reflecting body heat and keeping it within the bag. The oversized outer shell remains separate from the inner lining, forming an additional insulating layer for improved protection.
The temperature specifications for the Carinthia D 800X sleeping bag are evaluated according to the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -9 deg. C – represents the lowest temperature at which a female user is expected to sleep comfortably throughout the night,
- T-limit: -16 deg. C – indicates the minimum temperature at which a male user can sleep without experiencing discomfort,
- T-extreme: -38 deg. C – defines the coldest temperature at which survival is possible while using the sleeping bag. This value is not recommended for routine use.
Equipped with a two-way central zipper, the sleeping bag enables complete opening for convenience. The Anti Snag system is incorporated to stop the zipper from catching on the material. Along the zipper, an insulated flap serves as a barrier to prevent cold air intrusion. At the zipper’s top, a Velcro tab is positioned to keep the zipper securely closed throughout the night. The trapezoidal foot section ensures ample foot room while maintaining optimal warmth inside.
Equipped with a contoured hood featuring an adjustable face opening, offering personalized fit through integrated drawcords.
Compact when packed, the sleeping bag occupies minimal space, allowing for easy transport and storage. With packed dimensions of 25 x 32 cm and a weight of just 2000 g, carrying it is convenient and won’t burden your load.
