Carinthia and cooperation with the armed forces

Since the 1980s, Carinthia has been actively cooperating with the armed forces of many countries, supplying them with specialized military sleeping bags. The first order was fulfilled in 1982 for the Austrian army, and in 1988 the brand's products reached the Swiss army.

In 1999, Carinthia supplied 70,000 Defence 4 sleeping bags with additional inner lining for the Indian army and developed the Tropen model, designed for use in hot and humid climates. In 2003, the company also began supplying sleeping bags to the Swedish and German armies, strengthening its position as an equipment supplier to the armed forces on an international scale.
