Compact telescope utilizing the Schmidt-Cassegrain system features a 125 mm aperture and a focal length of 1250 mm. With a maximum magnification of 188x and a short focal length, the instrument is ideal for observing targets such as lunar surfaces and star clusters. The optical tube weighs just 3 kg, making transportation effortless.
A corrector plate coated with high-performance StarBright XLT anti-reflective coatings enhances light transmission. Focusing is performed using a conveniently placed knob on the side of the tube. The mount operates with either 8 AA batteries inserted in the head or an optional 12 V power supply.
Equipped with a NexStar controller and a database exceeding 40,000 objects along with 9 slewing speeds, the system requires manual alignment with up to 3 reference stars to function optimally, supporting searches for both preset and user-defined objects. Computer connectivity is possible for full control through popular astronomical software, requiring an additional RS232-USB adapter.
A high-grade Plossl eyepiece, offering a 25 mm focal length and a 50-degree field of view, is included. The T-Adapter SCT facilitates camera integration. Optional accessories include the Star Sense automatic alignment module and the Celestron SkySync GPS unit. Control via WiFi is possible through the SkyQ Link module.
