Operating within a frequency range of 11 - 11.5 kHz, the device provides highly accurate detection of gold, silver (including coins), military artifacts, jewelry, and other valuable metal objects concealed underground, in grass, sand, mud, underwater, or inside buildings. The 360-degree detection range greatly enhances target finding, while holding the tip in a horizontal position expands the area being scanned.
The CT-1078 model features three alarm settings:

A convenient mode memory function automatically activates the detector using your last selected settings. The integrated LED flashlight assists in searches under low-light conditions. Power is supplied by a single 9 V alkaline battery. An indicator monitors the battery level, allowing effective management of the device's operating time.
