I do not recommend this stuff. My new leather backpack immediately lost its black pigment and was left faded because of this detergent. You're afraid to use gray soap, thinking it might be too strong, so you buy a 'professional' detergent for rent, and it turns out it's some kind of solvent. This might at most be suitable for removing color from leather.
