Crafted from 4034 stainless steel and tempered to a hardness of 55–57 HRC, the blade delivers excellent corrosion resistance, solid mechanical durability, and is easy to sharpen.

A flipper at the base of the blade enables rapid one-handed deployment of the knife. When the blade is open, the flipper also serves as a cross guard, shielding your hand from accidental contact with the cutting edge.

Contoured handle with Zy-Ex

Constructed from Zy-Ex composite, the handle features a robust nylon base reinforced with fiberglass, enhancing damage resistance. Enhanced grip security is provided by textured, rubber anti-slip inserts.

4034SS - an alternative designation for Krupp 4034 steel, also known as X46Cr13 or 1.4034, is a German martensitic stainless steel developed by ThyssenKrupp. The carbon content of 0.46% ensures moderate hardness, while chromium (13%) guarantees high resistance to corrosion and oxidation. The steel also has good hardenability and structural stability thanks to the addition of manganese (approx. 1%) and silicon (approx. 1%). After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness of 54-57 HRC, which ensures a durable but easy-to-resharpen edge. Thanks to its combination of corrosion resistance, easy maintenance, and good elasticity, 4034SS is a popular choice for the production of everyday carry (EDC) knives, hunting and kitchen knives, and tools.

Zy-Ex is a composite material developed by Cold Steel, based on glass fiber reinforced polyamide. The material is lightweight yet very rigid, allowing for the construction of a solid handle without excessively increasing the weight of the knife.
