A minimalist boot knife forged from a single piece of 52100 steel, which is known for its strength and resistance to chipping. The model features a dagger-profile blade with a flat grind. The blade is coated with a black finish, giving it a matte appearance. The set includes a Secure-Ex sheath, which allows for comfortable, everyday carry.

The knife is made of 52100 high-carbon steel, which is resistant to chipping and relatively resistant to abrasion. Although it is not a stainless steel and requires proper care and surface protection, its cutting properties and high wear resistance make it one of the best materials among classic carbon steels.

The blade, with a dagger profile, is 127 mm long and 4.5 mm thick. It features a smooth cutting edge achieved through a flat grind. To protect against corrosion, the entire knife is coated with a black finish, which also prevents glare.

The steel handle is contoured to minimize the risk of the hand slipping toward the cutting edge, and the double-sided cross guard provides additional protection. At the end of the handle, there is a hole through which a cord or lanyard can be threaded.

The sheath included with the knife in the Secure-Ex system is made of a lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant material. The sheath holds the knife securely in place thanks to its custom-fit opening. Numerous holes and grommets allow for multi-position attachment to a belt or other pieces of gear.

52100 is an American bearing steel with a carbon content of 0.98-1.1%, valued in cutlery for its strength, resistance to chipping, and ability to maintain sharpness. The chromium content (1.3-1.6%) improves abrasion resistance and aids the hardening process. It also contains manganese (0.25-0.45%) and silicon (0.15-0.35%), which increase the strength and elasticity of the steel. After proper hardening, the steel reaches a hardness of 62-64 HRC, making it an ideal material for the production of bushcraft, survival, and hunting knives. Although it is not stainless steel and requires proper maintenance and protective coatings, its cutting properties and wear resistance make it one of the best choices among traditional carbon steels.

    This is exactly the kind of dagger I needed, I have the 'Chaos' version and this one is smaller, making it easier and more handy for everyday tasks. The clip on the sheath is useful, allowing you to easily fasten the knife to a belt loop parallel to your belt. It requires a bit of sharpening and then it's ready to go. In my opinion, the knife is very good depending on its intended use.

    A fine little dagger, the paint comes off, but underneath it looks even nicer! It's worth measuring before buying – it's rather a subtle little toy.
