Cold Steel Gentlemen's Stockman 8Cr13MoV Folding Knife - Yellow Bone
A classic EDC folding knife with an elegant, traditional design, crafted for everyday use. The Gentlemen’s Stockman model is equipped with three blades with different profiles (Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot), making it a versatile tool for many tasks. The blades are made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and finished with a satin finish. The knife opens in the classic manner, using fingernail notches. The natural bone handle, complemented by metal bolsters, gives the knife an elegant look while ensuring a comfortable grip.
8Cr13MoV stainless steel
The blades are made of Chinese 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which offers a good balance between edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. After proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of 56–58 HRC.
3 blades with Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot profiles
The knife is equipped with three independent blades: Clip-Point, Spey-Point, and Sheepsfoot, allowing you to adapt the tool to a specific task. Each blade has a smooth cutting edge, ensuring precision and comfort during use. The blades are finished with a satin finish, which gives them a semi-matte surface and increases their resistance to scratches. Finger notches make it easy to open the blade.
handle made from natural bone with metal bolsters
The knife's handle is made of natural bone, which gives it an elegant, classic look and highlights the model's character. Each piece is distinguished by the material's unique texture, typical of natural materials. The design is complemented by metal bolsters, which reinforce the construction, improve the knife's balance, and give it an aesthetic, traditional form. The slender profile of the handle ensures a comfortable grip and makes it easy to carry in a pocket.
Slip Joint lock
The knife is equipped with a classic slip joint lock, which uses a tension spring to hold the blade in the open or closed position. This mechanism does not lock the blade rigidly in place, but provides adequate resistance during use, which promotes safe and controlled handling.

My little discovery of this year. Bought with the thought: I'll see and send it back. It stayed permanently on my belt. It evokes a huge nostalgia for 'grandfather's knife.' It's the cheapest piece in my collection but one that makes me smile and feel very satisfied. I made a pancake-style sheath for it myself and I'm thrilled. It's not a knife for prying doors or batoning, but it's still more than sufficient. And with three blades, it allows for long work without sharpening.
