Favored by hunters across Europe and the Americas during the 16th and 17th centuries, this hunting sword features a blade measuring 610 mm in length, crafted from 1055 carbon steel. Renowned for its excellent impact resistance and edge retention, the blade is constructed with a flat grind and finished with a satin coating for a matte look. A broad fuller along the spine helps decrease weight while improving strength. An intricately designed double-sided cross guard, complete with a finger-protecting bar, safeguards the hand from slipping onto the blade.
For the handle scales, rosewood—sourced from Dalbergia Nigra trees—has been selected. This wood is known for its impressive durability and density. Nickel-silver pins and decorative grooves enhance the handle, while the ornately crafted pommel provides balance to the blade. Wooden scales on the tang ensure a secure grip for precise cutting.
Included with the sword is a wood scabbard encased in leather, finished with a highly decorated nickel-silver chape and upper fitting for added elegance and protection.
