There is a great promotion right now, I bought it and I am very pleasantly surprised. But from the beginning. I have an older version of this model made from 1055 steel, this one is from better 65Mn. The old version didn't have a logo on the blade (it had a sticker), this one does. Also, the blade has a better coating and the handle is made of a better material. The old one was produced in Africa, this one in China. It may not seem like much, but the new version is much better made. Unfortunately, it comes packed in such a tough package that you really have to struggle to open it, but it does protect well during transport. As for the sharpness of the machete itself, mine came factory-sharpened so well that it cuts an A4 sheet like a Japanese kitchen knife. I really didn't expect that you could make a simple machete so perfect.

A very well-balanced machete. Although it's heavy, it feels light. Top class in use. The sheath/case is strong and durable. It needed a bit of sharpening, and now it's perfect.

Solid machete, nice and safe sheath, although sometimes it's hard to put the machete inside. The center of gravity is shifted strongly towards the blade, which gives the impression of enhanced cutting power.

Very nice machete, comfortable grip, I expected the blade to be bigger but it's just right, so it fits in a backpack. It's also light, at this price it's a great product of its type, cold steel never disappoints.

A good quality machete. Very well made. Good quality sheath (although sometimes it's hard to put the machete in due to its sharpness). Excellent value for money. Excellent size to weight ratio as well.

A very good machete for heavy work in forest conditions when you have to deal with omnipresent bird cherry bushes and other weeds. It does the job.

Legendary machete, after further sharpening it becomes a cutting demon, undergrowth and small branches seem to jump away at its sight. Even the sheath does the job, which at this price is worth noting.

A piece of blade. Good vacation price. My brother-in-law liked the engraving! Not too heavy, but not exactly light either. A very good gift, and the kukri shape adds atmosphere even outside the competition.

Very well-balanced machete. Although it's heavy, it feels light. First class in use. The holster/sheath is strong and durable. Just needed a bit of sharpening and it's perfect.

I recommend it, perfectly balanced and chops wood well. The handle is a bit uncomfortable, if you use it for a long time the handle pinches your palm, but the cheapest work gloves solve the issue.

Great machete and at a budget price. Really good steel, the right weight for such a tool. Easy to handle. Sharp and easy to sharpen. Overall, I highly recommend it.
