Cold Steel Lucky Double Blade S35VN Folding Knife

Compact EDC folding knife, crafted as a pocket-sized option for gentlemen. Outfitted with dual blades, both sporting a Drop-Point profile: one with a plain edge and one with a fully serrated edge. Manufactured from CPM S35VN powder stainless steel, celebrated for its superior wear resistance. The handle, finished in black, is constructed from polished carbon fiber. Opening is achieved via a nail nick, and the blade is secured by a classic Slip Joint spring. Daily carry is facilitated by a robust, spring-steel pocket clip.

CPM S35VN powder steel

Forged from CPM S35VN powder steel, the knife blades deliver exceptional corrosion resistance and superior edge retention. With a hardness rating of 60–61 HRC, the steel provides outstanding resistance to wear while preserving optimal toughness.

plain and serrated blades, satin finish

Outfitted with two Drop-Point blades measuring 67 mm in length and 1.5 mm in thickness, both blades utilize a hollow grind for superior slicing efficiency. The plain edge excels in delivering accurate, controlled cuts, while the serrated edge makes quick work of resilient synthetic materials such as cords, rope, and various plastics. A satin finish brings a semi-matte visual appeal, increasing both the knife’s aesthetics and its resistance to scratching.

contoured carbon fiber grip

Handle scales crafted from polished carbon fiber offer exceptional strength combined with minimal weight. The ergonomic profile and pronounced finger grooves deliver a firm and reliable hold while in use. Outfitted with a steel pocket clip, the knife provides easy and secure everyday carry.

Slip Joint lock, nail nick

A classic Slip Joint spring mechanism secures the blade, with a back spring applying tension to hold the blade firmly open. Deployment is achieved using a nail nick, ensuring user-friendly and reliable access to the blade.

CPM S35VN feature
CPM S35VN
CPM S35VN is a stainless powder steel developed by Crucible Industries in collaboration with Chris Reeve, used in premium knives. It is an evolution of the popular S30V steel, offering a better balance between wear resistance, stainlessness, and ease of machining. Carbon (approx. 1.4%) is responsible for high hardness, while chromium (approx. 14%) gives the steel very good corrosion resistance, and vanadium (approx. 3%) extends edge life and improves cutting aggression. After hardening, it reaches 58-61 HRC, combining edge durability with fracture resistance. The steel retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen, commonly used in EDC, outdoor, tactical, and collector's knives.
Carbon Fiber feature
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Used in knife handles, it provides high resistance to mechanical damage, is not affected by moisture or extreme temperatures, and is chemically inert and non-conductive. It is distinguished by its characteristic layered weave, which gives each handle a unique appearance, particularly valued in premium knives.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
