Cold Steel Roach Belly Fixed Blade Knife

A knife with a fixed blade in the Trailing-Point profile, made from German 4116 Krupp stainless steel, hardened to a hardness of 56-57 HRC. Its shape is inspired by popular knives from 17th-century Great Britain. The handle is made from durable plastic, providing a secure grip. The set includes a Secure-Ex sheath for safe storage of the knife.

The blade is made from German 4116 stainless steel, prized for its high corrosion resistance and good cutting edge durability. The additional cryogenic treatment enhances its strength and mechanical properties. After hardening, the steel reaches a hardness of 56–57 HRC, making the blade wear-resistant and easy to maintain.

The blade in the Trailing-Point profile has a length of 114 mm and a thickness of 2.5 mm. It features a smooth cutting edge with a concave grind, facilitating precise cutting. The blade finish using the satin method gives it a semi-matte surface, providing an aesthetic appearance and increasing its resistance to scratches during use.

The handle is made from durable injection-moulded polymer. The ergonomic shape and non-slip texture ensure a secure and stable grip during work. Jimping is applied on the spine at the thumb rest area, improving blade control, and a hole in the rear part of the handle allows for threading a safety cord or lanyard.

A sheath made in the Secure-Ex system from lightweight, durable, and weather-resistant material is included with the knife. The low-profile design allows for discreet pocket carry and convenient attachment thanks to the integral clip on a belt or other accouterment elements.
