Great throwing knife, made from a single solid piece of steel for high durability. Throws nicely, you can feel the weight and the steel. I highly recommend it to everyone.
Cold Steel Sure Flight Sport 1055 Throwing Knife
For many years, Cold Steel has crafted professional throwing knives frequently used in competitions across the globe. Recognizing the increasing enthusiasm for this sport, the American manufacturer launched the Sport series, designed for both seasoned throwers and those just starting out. Each knife in the series is manufactured to match the high standards of competitive models but features a lighter and slimmer profile. Constructed from 1055 spring steel and finished with a black, anti-corrosive coating, these knives deliver exceptional durability and performance.
1055 Tool Steel
The blade is crafted from 1055 tool steel, offering a balance of excellent durability and ease of sharpening. Known for its high abrasion resistance, flexibility, and impact strength, this material is ideal for demanding tasks. With hardening to 54–57 HRC, the steel demonstrates outstanding resistance to cracking and chipping. As a form of carbon steel, it does, however, require consistent upkeep after exposure to moisture.
Spear-Point Profile Blade
Forged from a single piece of steel, the blade features a spear-point profile while the handle measures 305 mm in total length with a thickness of 3.5 mm. A robust black powder coating covers the entire knife, providing resistance to corrosion and abrasion. The ergonomically contoured handle is optimized for throwing techniques, delivering a firm grip and excellent control when thrown, and a hole at the end of the handle enables convenient storage and transport.

My first throwing knife and I am very satisfied with it. The knives arrive looking very nice, sharp only at the tips. Despite many clumsy beginner throws, the knives held up bravely. I recommend buying more than one (e.g., 3) so you don't have to walk to the target after every throw.
-
Very well balanced knife, it is definitely heavy but thanks to that it gives more fun, I recommend it.
-
Very well balanced. You can practice almost any throwing technique.
-
You get what you pay for.
-
In my opinion, the knife is good for beginners learning the no-spin style. It has good durability in case of unfortunate hits.
-
Very nice throwing knife. I ordered 2 pieces. I got one with the new logo and the other with the old one. The one with the new logo has a sharper tip and the grinds are straighter.
-
My first throwing knife. A piece of steel. After a dozen throws still intact.
-
Great throwing knife! Solid, quite heavy and large. Good for training no-spin throws. If you have a large target, it's worth buying two or three so you don't have to go after every throw - especially since the price is affordable.
-
My son says it was a very good throwing knife... it got lost in the forest undergrowth.
-
Durable, well-balanced, the tip needs to be reshaped because it gets deformed quickly, but otherwise everything is fine. I recommend it.
-
Good throwing knife although I would probably prefer a slightly shorter and thicker one. But that may be a matter of taste or skill. Very durable!
-
The knives have worked well after three months of use, the paint comes off a bit. The only damage was a broken tip after a strong hit on concrete, but after sharpening, no difference. For this price, it's worth it.
-
Durable and well-balanced throwing knife. Just right for a beginner.
-
Probably the best throwing knife in this store and I already have a few different ones from what's available here. You can buy this one blindly - not too light, not too heavy, comfortable length, just throw it, for me it's a hit, I don't think you'll find anything better at this price. I honestly recommend it.
