Cold Steel Tai Pan CPM 3V Dagger
A tactical knife with a Full Tang construction, designed by Lynn C. Thompson, founder and CEO of Cold Steel. The blade, featuring a Spear-Point profile, is made of CPM-3V powder-coated steel, which is highly resistant to wear. The blade has a satin finish. The black handle is made of Kray‑Ex material with a non-slip texture. The set includes a Secure‑Ex sheath, which allows for convenient carrying of the knife on a belt or attached to other gear.
CPM-3V powder steel
The blade is made of CPM 3V powder-coated steel, which, although not stainless steel, offers good corrosion resistance. After heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of 58–61 HRC, providing a balance between strength, durability, and ease of sharpening.
Satin-finished Spear-Point blade
The double-edged blade with a Spear-Point profile is 190 mm long and 5 mm thick. It features a smooth cutting edge with a hollow grind. The blade’s geometry ensures excellent piercing capabilities while maintaining high strength. The blade has been finished using the satin finish method, which gives the surface a semi-matte appearance and minimizes glare.
Kray-Ex grip with a non-slip texture
The knife's black handle is made of Kray-Ex with a deep texture, ensuring a secure grip even with wet or dirty hands. The knife features a full-tang construction with the blade tang running the entire length of the handle, which is only slightly narrower than the handle itself. The disc-shaped cross guard prevents fingers from slipping onto the blade. The handle is topped with a steel pommel, which can serve as a glass breaker and an improvised field tool. Additionally, there is a hole in the handle for threading a safety cord or lanyard.
Secure-Ex system sheath
The sheath included with the knife in the Secure-Ex system is made of a lightweight, durable material that can withstand harsh weather conditions. The sheath holds the knife securely in place thanks to a custom-fit opening and a snap-fastening loop, which prevents it from accidentally falling out. The loop allows the sheath to be attached to a belt, and numerous holes and grommets enable multi-position attachment to a belt or other pieces of gear.

You have to pay a few zlotys, but it's worth it. Beautiful trinket, a piece of solid knife. I recommend it.
