A solid knife that can be used not only for throwing but also for other purposes. After a few training sessions and the right feel, it sticks into the target almost every time.
Cold Steel True Flight Thrower S50C Knife
A robust throwing knife designed for versatility, suitable for tactical and outdoor use thanks to its user-friendly features. Crafted from a single piece of S50C carbon steel, the full tang construction is equipped with a black protective coating to boost durability against wear and corrosion. The handle is cord-wrapped for a reliable, secure grip, and the set comes with a functional nylon sheath for convenient transport.
Japanese S50C steel
Forged from Japanese S50C carbon steel, the blade offers exceptional resistance to mechanical stress, impacts, and demonstrates strong crack resistance. With a balanced hardness range of 55-58 HRC, the knife remains easy to sharpen. Regular care is required to protect the carbon steel after contact with moisture.
Spear-Point profile blade, epoxy coating
Featuring a spear-point blade profile, the blade measures 155 mm in length and 5 mm in thickness. A black anti-corrosion epoxy coating protects the blade surface. With a flat grind that extends halfway up the blade, the True Flight Thrower achieves excellent cutting performance. For enhanced penetration, a false edge has been incorporated at the tip.
Full Tang construction, parachute cord wrap
Featuring Full Tang construction, the handle is wrapped in a layer of non-stretchable nylon parachute cord. This specialized wrap ensures a secure grip and shields the hand from the steel tang.
Cor-Ex sheath
A lightweight and flexible Cor-Ex sheath is supplied for added convenience. Designed with a secure snap closure, the sheath holds the knife firmly in place to minimize the risk of accidental loss. The integrated belt loop ensures rapid and comfortable sheath attachment to your belt.

Very good knife, fits comfortably in the hand. It is heavy, making it perfect for cutting thicker branches. It works perfectly for outdoor trips and on training grounds.
-
Nicely balanced, fits great in the hand, seems to be durable. We'll see how it performs when throwing, but it passed the first tests brilliantly.
-
Very nice knife, useful not only for learning to throw but also for camp work. Good quality knife, not only for throwing, sharp and sits well in the hand, I highly recommend.
-
At first glance, the knife looks great, fits well in the hand, suitable for heavy work, great for use in the woods, durable, also suitable for throwing, well balanced.
-
This knife is just awesome!!! I got into throwing thanks to it, because I bought it out of pure curiosity. The only minor downside is that the handle wrap wears out quickly... but what's the problem with installing a new one? At the same time, you can change the color!
-
The best throwing knife I've seen. Perfectly balanced throwing knife, nicely made, from good materials, and the set includes a sheath made from cordura. I recommend!
-
Solid knife. Quite large and heavy. Keeps its flight path well and is enjoyable to throw. The epoxy coating is very useful, as the knife often lands on the ground :) Recommended.
-
Brilliant knife, the blade design is very good and the coating is fantastic. Wonderful dart, pure pleasure to throw. I recommend it for both beginners and advanced users. Perfect for full-rotation throws. Excellent quality workmanship. Excellent quality dart knife. Flies wonderfully, no problems, and for other tasks it's a fully functional knife. I recommend it, because it's really worth it.
-
A knife worth recommending for learning how to throw and for tasks where a light cut is enough. The build quality is fine. The included sheath also does the job.
-
As a throwing knife it's fine, but for other uses it's just average because it gets dull very quickly, any stone and the knife has a visible dent that isn't so easy to sharpen.

I have a 7-year-old version without Taiwan but this knife has its weaknesses. After only 10 training sessions with various knives, including 120-year-old Austrian and German bayonets, the knife lost its tip when it gently "met" a bayonet and the wrap was already cut up after a few throws (again after meeting military bayonets). Generally for scouts it's useful for various assignments but for those wanting a knife effective at reaching a thrown target, it's a bit amateur!Unfortunately, I prefer Russian products, although due to the war they're unavailable, while Polish Purans are good for beginner scouts (they're too light)!!! That's all. Greetings to throwers from 10–15 meters????

Great survival knife and throwing knife, 2 in 1! The item in the photo is the new version made of 1050 steel, but with improved construction, no hole in the top part of the handle, which makes it stronger.
-
Nice, lightweight knife for many uses. It's a shame the sheath can't be attached horizontally from the factory. Flies nicely, although it requires some practice. I sharpened it a bit and now it almost shaves. Recommended.
-
Great for throwing although a bit too long for no spin, basically you’re only limited by your imagination when it comes to uses. Definitely a highly recommended knife!
