Folding knife built for both everyday carry (EDC) and tactical use. Featuring a Tanto-style blade crafted from Japanese AUS-10A steel, known for excellent corrosion resistance. Forged from Japanese AUS-10A steel, the blade delivers outstanding durability along with excellent resistance to both corrosion and wear. After hardening, it reaches a hardness rating of 58-61 HRC.

Tanto blade with Diamond-Like Carbon coating

Equipped with a Tanto-style blade, the knife offers a 79 mm length and 3 mm thickness. Outfitted with a plain edge and a flat grind, the blade’s geometry delivers exceptional cutting performance while preserving robust durability for demanding tasks. A black DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating covers the blade, providing superior protection against scratches, improved resistance to corrosion, and a reduced glare finish.

An ergonomically shaped handle is crafted entirely from robust glass-epoxy laminate G10, consisting of two thick scales secured with screws and enhanced by a back spacer for added strength. A textured G10 surface improves control in hand, while the contoured ergonomic design guarantees a firm and reliable grip. Daily portability is provided by a springy clip attached to the handle, enabling convenient attachment to a belt or pocket edge. The reversible clip can be adjusted for either right- or left-handed carry. At the handle's end, a hole allows for the attachment of a safety cord or lanyard.

Tri-Ad Lock, double-sided thumb stud

Fitted with the Tri-Ad Lock system, regarded as one of the most robust mechanisms in folding knives, the knife features a lock design centered around a stop pin that channels force from the blade directly to the handle, minimizing wear. The mechanism self-adjusts with use, ensuring consistent lock performance over time. A double-sided thumb stud on the blade allows for rapid, one-handed deployment using the thumb.

AUS-10 is a high-quality stainless steel produced by the Japanese company Aichi Steel, considered one of the best in the AUS steel series, used mainly in mid-range and high-end utility knives, produced mainly in Japan and Taiwan. The carbon content (0.95-1.1%) ensures high hardness, while chromium (13-14.5%) guarantees very good corrosion and abrasion resistance. The steel also contains manganese (up to 1%), silicon (up to 1%), phosphorus (up to 0.025%), and sulfur (up to 0.025%), which affect hardenability, impact strength, elasticity, and machinability, improving structural stability and maintaining mechanical properties. After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness of 58-61 HRC, offering an excellent balance between strength, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. It is comparable to 440C steel, differing in carbon content and the addition of vanadium, which improves structural homogeneity and increases abrasion resistance.

Tri-Ad Lock is a lock developed by Cold Steel and Andrew Demko, considered one of the strongest systems in folding knives. Its key element is a stop pin, which takes the pressure from the blade and distributes it to the handle, protecting the lock from wear and overload. The mechanism is designed to self-adjust over time, which maintains the reliability of the lock even after prolonged use. In tests, it has proven resistant to loads of up to hundreds of pounds, confirming its durability.

DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) is a modern protective coating in which a thin layer of amorphous carbon with a structure similar to diamond is applied to steel. It increases the hardness and abrasion resistance of the blade, protects against corrosion, and reduces friction during cutting. The characteristic matte shade of black or anthracite gives the knife a tactical look and eliminates light reflections, which is important in military and outdoor applications. G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
