A precise reproduction of the Wakizashi sword—serving as an intermediate blade positioned between the traditional Katana and the Tanto puginbal. Held as the secondary weapon by samurai, it was also wielded as a companion sword in dual-blade combat. Crafted following authentic patterns with traditional materials, it represents an exquisite blend of historical accuracy and the reliability of a fully functional, razor-sharp live blade.
The blade is forged from hardened 1055 spring steel and maintains a keen edge, effortlessly slicing through training mats.
The handle consists of a wooden core wrapped in genuine Same (ray skin - Raja). Detailed craftsmanship is evident in the ornamental Tsuba (guard), Kashira (pommel) fashioned from black iron, and the Menuki (decorative fixture beneath the grip) made from brass.
Supplied with a wooden black lacquered scabbard along with a blue sword bag.
