This is not a perfect product – it has both advantages and disadvantages. The band material is quite thick, so despite the interesting technologies, it causes sweating even at lower temperatures. Moisture is indeed wicked away, and cooling is slightly noticeable, but it only works after you've already started to sweat. It would be better if this sweating could be avoided, but that's not the case. A thinner and lighter material around could help with this. The brim is curved, which protects against side sun rays, which is a plus, but at the same time it limits peripheral vision, which can be a nuisance when moving around the city. The material on the head is soft, airy, and thin (maybe mesh in a few places would be better), so I don't have major objections here. I understand that a poorly sewn velcro might bother some people, but with my short haircut (a millimeter long) I didn't have this problem. Overall, the cap is well designed, but it focuses more on technological novelties than on practical, proven solutions (it should above all be light, thin, and breathable).
