This is already my 4th Marmot jacket, one down, one winter, and one spring. All of them are super breathable and protect from the wind at the same time. This one is amazingly lightweight, and even though the insulated chambers seem airy, it's warm and windproof, plus it's covered with DWR. I recommend the Marmot brand.

A down jacket engineered to deliver exceptional thermal insulation in low-temperature conditions. The interior features a filling of 650 cuin down sourced exclusively from certified suppliers adhering to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS), ensuring reliable warmth and high breathability. The outer fabric consists of polyester treated with a DWR hydrophobic finish, offering effective protection against wind and moisture.
The lining utilizes Omni-Heat Thermal Reflective technology, incorporating silver dots on the interior to reflect body heat and optimize heat retention within the jacket. This system also efficiently manages moisture wicking towards the fabric's surface, a key benefit during demanding outdoor activities.
Classic features include two side pockets and an adjustable hood. A single-direction zipper finished with a chin guard secures the front. Elastic drawcords at the cuffs, hood, and hem can be adjusted to improve fit and shield from strong winds.
