In the physical store, I tried on Columbia jackets and softshells, probably about 6 pieces. I was 100% sure that size L was perfect. Unfortunately, this model is like an XL (even though the label says everything's fine). Theoretically, the fit is Regular, but in my opinion, it's loose. The chest pocket is a bit too large and too deep—if you put a wallet or ticket in there, it'll slide almost down to the pocket below. The quality of workmanship is visibly very good, the softshell material is different than in North Face, softer, very pleasant. Oh! The hood—slightly insulated, good size, not meant for under a helmet. Will I try size M? Probably not, this oversized chest pocket is the deciding factor.
