The outer layer is made of 100% lightweight and durable polyester. The material is coated with an Omni-Shield finish resistant to water, dirt and external factors. The hydrophobic finish limits the absorption of liquids by the fibres. Water droplets remain on the surface and run off it more easily instead of quickly penetrating the fabric structure.
Omni Shield technology helps keep the weight of the clothing lower after contact with moisture. The fibres do not retain water to the same extent as traditional materials. The inside is finished with a lining made of 210T nylon. The smooth fabric makes it easier to put the jacket on over a sweatshirt or sweater and reduces the snagging of the material on clothing worn underneath.
Thermal insulation is provided by the synthetic Thermarator material, developed as an alternative to natural down. The filling combines low weight, good insulation and moisture resistance. The synthetic filling supports freedom of movement and does not create a stiff, heavy layer.
The insulation is made of 100% recycled polyester. Stitching forms chambers that keep the filling in the correct position. They limit the shifting of the insulating material during use and support its even distribution.
