Cytac Quick Release Adapter for T-Thumbsmart Gen. 2 Holsters

Quick-release holster adapter engineered for T-Thumbsmart Gen. 2 and Level III series holsters. Constructed from robust polymer material. Compatible with flipper and belt mounts, as well as thigh platforms, harnesses, or MOLLE attachments.

The adapter features a construction consisting of two interconnected components: the smaller segment attaches directly to the holster, while the larger section secures to the mounting platform. Thanks to the Quick Release mechanism, activated by a conveniently positioned side button, users can effortlessly and swiftly separate the two components, detaching the holster from its mount in one smooth motion.

Additionally, a button located at the bottom of the adapter enables users to adjust the angle of the holster in relation to the mount, offering a full range of motion up to 180 degrees.

Featuring a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 2.1, as determined according to ASTM F3340-18 standard, this model ensures effective ground insulation. A higher rating translates to greater efficiency in minimizing heat loss to the substrate.

R-Value classification in the outdoor sector:

• 1.0-2.0 – recommended for summer use (nighttime temperatures above approximately 10 deg. C)
• 2.1-3.5 – suitable for spring, summer, and autumn (approximately 0-10 deg. C)
• 3.6-5.0 – performs well in colder settings, near 0 deg. C or subzero temperatures down to about -5/-10 deg. C
• 5.1-7.0 – intended for winter conditions, when temperatures fall below 0 deg. C
• above 7.0 – designed for harsh winter environments requiring enhanced insulation

Thermal comfort in the field is influenced by the sleep system setup (sleeping bag, apparel), ground characteristics, and the user's own resistance to cold.
