Very nice "multi-functional device." Perfect for an emergency sleeping kit. Can be used as a hammock or on the ground as an improvised bivy. Relatively high water resistance, which results in low breathability – considerable condensation at night.
Travel Bivy offers a waterproof version of the renowned Frontline hammock from DD Hammocks. This advanced hammock features an integrated mosquito net that effectively defends against even the tiniest insects, including mosquitoes, ticks, flies, wasps, and bees. The mosquito net is equipped with a two-way zipper for quick access, and can be conveniently rolled up and secured beneath the hammock when not required. Maximum load capacity reaches 150 kg, ensuring superior comfort. Perfect for outdoor adventures, bushcraft excursions, and survival trips.
Crafted from breathable, highly tear-resistant material. The hammock features a dual-layer design connected by wide Velcro closures, allowing you to insert a sleeping pad or NRC mat for enhanced insulation. Four internal pockets offer organized storage for essentials like a flashlight, mobile phone, keys, or documents. Two dedicated inner loops allow you to hang personal items such as a lamp, while four external attachments enable secure setup in diverse environments.
Thanks to the waterproof fabric, the hammock can also be deployed directly on the ground and used as a bivy shelter, providing protection from moisture underneath.
Included in the package
- 2 collapsible mosquito net poles
- Two 2-meter elastic cords for securing the mosquito net
- 10 meters of webbing for hammock installation

I bought this hammock a few days ago and it was already tested in the first days of May. It worked 100%, great product. You can feel a bit of cold from below in the hammock itself, but I put a sleeping mat between the layers of the hammock and it’s fine now. I recommend it.
-
Hammock used only for the first time so far but has performed great. Big plus for the double floor where you can put a sleeping pad or mat in between. And of course, the option to make a bivy is great – you can sleep on the ground. The thing I’ll probably change is the ropes for hanging the hammock, I’ll switch to straps and it’ll be okay.
-
Easy to assemble, especially with the protective sleeve.
-
ADVANTAGES... Solid materials, strong seams, spacious. One hundred percent mosquito-proof mesh. Numerous inner pockets. Easy to assemble thanks to thick straps and knowing two knots. DISADVANTAGES... Unfortunately, the set weighs about 1.3 kg, NOT 930 grams – the manufacturer is misleading. The hammock, therefore, is HEAVY. It's also important that the waterproof layer causes MOISTURE TO ACCUMULATE on the bottom of the hammock because of condensation when there's a significant temperature difference between the inside and outside.
-
Very good quality hammock, a bit spacious but great for summer and provides excellent protection from insects.
-
Super lightweight and sturdy equipment. Highly recommend.
-
Light, small, handy, and durable. Now it’s only a matter of how long it will last, but for now it’s solid and holding up well.
-
You have to learn how to lie and sleep in it, but once you get the hang of it, you feel safer and more comfortable on a hike or camping. Practical. I haven’t set it up on the ground yet. The hammock is great. Lightweight.
-
The hammock hasn’t been tested yet, but once set up in the apartment, it makes a great impression – it’s wide and long, in other words, two people should fit without any problem. Small, not even heavy, it will fit in a backpack without a problem and there will still be plenty of space left. I recommend it.
-
So far, it's working great. Solid.
-
Excellent and sturdy, the only downside is the permanently attached mosquito net, but its frame system is very successful. I have tested the hammock several times in the forest and highly recommend it!
-
Top-class hammock. It performed excellently and is very solid, at least after the first use, so I hope it lasts a long time.
-
Comfortable, durable hammock with integrated mosquito net and pocket for a sleeping pad or blanket. The extended mosquito net also protects against the wind.
-
Surprisingly functional. Decent materials and workmanship.
