Defcon 5 Storm Plate Carrier Tactical Vest - Vegetato
Plate Carrier tactical vest with a quick-release system in Vegetato camouflage. The well-thought-out design combines high durability with low weight. Front and rear dummy ballistic plates panels, pouches and full MOLLE/PALS compatibility ensure maximum configuration flexibility.
durable material, lightweight and durable construction
The model is made of durable and lightweight 1000D nylon, which offers very good resistance to damage. The modular design with reinforced stitching provides stability and even weight distribution of the carried equipment. The padded shoulder straps and the inner side of the vest are covered with a soft and breathable mesh fabric, which increases wearing comfort and improves ventilation during intense activity.
MOLLE/PALS compatibility, mounting loops, drag handle
The Laser Cut openings on the front, sides and back of the vest are compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing additional accessories to be attached. The shoulder straps are equipped with loops for routing radio cables or the hydration system tube, which makes equipment organisation easier. Additionally, there is a drag handle on the back of the vest to make casualty evacuation easier.
ROC buckles, adjustment system
The waist and shoulder straps feature ROC quick-release buckles made of durable POM material. The vest is adjusted using drawstrings located in the shoulder straps and on the waist, allowing precise adjustment to the body shape.

Additionally, the Storm Plate Carrier vest is equipped with three pouches with an elastic retention cord for 5.56 × 45 mm NATO rifle magazines. The panels located at the front and back on the inner side allow the use of ballistic inserts.

Vegetato camouflage
Vegetato is an Italian military camouflage introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as the standard camouflage pattern of the Italian Armed Forces. The pattern is based on irregular, multilayer patches in shades of green, brown, beige and earthy red. Vegetato, also known as mimetico Vegetata or Italian Woodland, was created as a modern alternative to older woodland-type patterns. Thanks to its rich palette and well-thought-out arrangement of patches, this camouflage effectively breaks up the soldier's silhouette and works well in varied natural surroundings - especially in areas covered with low and medium vegetation. Due to its character and colour scheme, Vegetato adapts well to conditions found in many regions of Europe, covering both Mediterranean and temperate climates.

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
