A straightforward stereoscopic microscope, suitable for a wide range of uses including educational purposes. Features a magnification range of 10x, 20x, 30x, and 60x, enabling the viewing of small, non-transparent specimens such as insects, plant fragments, minerals, coins, stamps, and more.
Constructed for viewing with reflected light. Specimens can be examined under natural light or by using a lamp. To achieve optimal image quality, utilize a gooseneck illuminator (not included), which enables precise control over the angle and incidence of light.
Operation of the Discovery 30 stereoscopic microscope requires no additional tools, nor does it necessitate slides or coverslips. Simply position the chosen specimen directly beneath the lenses, making it suitable even for children’s exploration.
With the addition of a 30.5mm adapter (optional, not included), either a digital eyepiece camera or a professional microscope camera can be installed in one of the eyepiece tubes, facilitating photography and video documentation of your observations.
