Delta Optical Smart 5MP Pro Digital Microscope

A digital microscope featuring a 5-megapixel CMOS sensor delivers magnification ranging from 20x to 300x. This allows for detailed observation of both larger items (such as insects, plant pieces, stamps, or coins) and smaller elements (e.g., minute features of larger objects, microscope slides). Achieved magnification is influenced by the chosen settings, distance to the specimen, as well as the monitor’s resolution and size. An integrated automatic white balance function means the Smart 5MP Pro requires no manual color calibration.

The device enables not only real-time viewing but also capturing of still images (JPG, BMP, PNG, TIF formats) and recording video files (AVI format). All collected visual documentation can be printed, stored on a PC, or shared online.

A stable, height-adjustable tripod with a focusing knob is included, significantly improving the comfort and precision of observations while minimizing hand movement. For inspecting larger objects that cannot fit under a standard microscope, the instrument can be operated manually, similar to a pen. Enhanced portability is ensured by a 1.4-meter USB cable. Observation in dim lighting is enhanced by a built-in LED illuminator with infinitely variable brightness control.

No batteries or rechargeable cells are necessary as power is supplied directly via a USB connection to a computer. The set includes Delta Optical Smart Analysis Pro software, streamlining image and video capture and enabling direct saving to a computer’s hard drive.

Full compatibility with all Windows versions as well as Mac OSX 10.6-10.8 is provided. Advanced software functionality facilitates precise measurement of microscopic objects.

The software lets you:
- insert text onto images,
- draw lines, arrows, rectangles, and freehand marks,
- measure the length of any straight segment,
- measure lengths of distinct straight segments within any curved line,
- draw circles using a radius and calculate the radius, circumference, and area,
- draw circles using a diameter and calculate the diameter, circumference, and area,
- measure the angle between any two lines in degrees,
- calibrate measurements using the enclosed calibration scale.
