Deuter Rise Backpack 34+8 l - Atlantic/Ink
Designed for alpine ski touring, this backpack is tailored to meet the needs of winter sports aficionados. Constructed from a blend of polyamide 200D Rip-Stop fabric and 630D polyamide, it offers enhanced durability and resistance to abrasions. A DWR (Durable Water Repellency) coating adds an extra layer of water resistance and helps repel dirt. The backpack features a standard capacity of 34 liters, which can be expanded by an additional 8 liters by adjusting the removable top flap.
Manufactured using materials that are Bluesign certified and derived from recycled sources.
Spacious main compartment, numerous pockets
The large main compartment features a dual-section design. Entry is possible via two methods: from the top through the flap or from the back by unzipping the rear access. Within the compartment, a divider is provided for a hydration reservoir with a maximum volume of 3 liters, along with an internal pocket for storing personal belongings. Positioned at the front, a dedicated pocket is available for storing an avalanche safety kit, folding shovel, and avalanche probe. Additional gear storage includes: two pockets integrated into the flap, two stretch side pockets, and a dedicated phone pocket located on the side. Two more zippered pockets are included on the hip belt for added utility.
Panel with SOS instructions, alarm whistle
For enhanced user safety, the backpack features a panel displaying SOS instructions on the interior of the flap and is fitted with an alarm whistle on the chest strap.

The ergonomic hip belt combined with contoured, cushioned shoulder straps provides superior carrying comfort. Integrated compression straps secure your load and offer the option to attach bulkier gear such as a snowboard, snowshoes, or additional winter equipment.
Equipped with the Deuter Alpine Back System, the backpack incorporates a lightweight Delrin frame shaped in a U, delivering balanced weight distribution and keeping the pack stable, all while preserving excellent flexibility throughout the construction.

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Bluesign is an international standard for sustainable textile production developed by Swiss company Schoeller Textil AG. It covers the entire production process, minimizes the negative impact on the environment and takes care of the efficiency of raw material consumption. The Bluesign label confirms that a company strives for environmentally friendly and ethical clothing production.
Alpine Back is a carrying system developed with the cooperation of mountaineers and mountain rescuers for backpacks designed for climbing, skydiving and activities in difficult conditions requiring good body balance. The use of two rows of anatomically shaped cushions covered with 3D AirMesh fabric ensures stability and very good ventilation.
