Direct Action Mortar Backpack - MultiCam
Specialist backpack in MultiCam camouflage designed for the safe and organised carrying of 10 60 mm mortar rounds. The reinforced 500D Cordura construction retains its shape even when emptied, which makes packing, arranging equipment, and quick management of the carried load easier in demanding field conditions. The main compartment is closed with a long zip that allows the backpack to be laid flat and provides unrestricted access to the entire contents. The lower part of the zip has been protected by a sewn-in collar, which reduces the risk of mechanical damage during use. The set includes 20 tape loops designed for securing mortar rounds inside the backpack.
construction made of durable Cordura
The backpack is made of durable 500D Cordura with a grammage of 260 g/m2. This material is highly resistant to mechanical damage such as abrasion or tearing, which significantly increases the backpack's durability in field conditions. The stability of the construction and the ability to adjust the volume are provided by three compression straps fastened with 20 mm buckles. They limit load movement and additionally reinforce the backpack's shape during the transport of heavy equipment.
main compartment designed for carrying 10 mortar rounds
The backpack's main compartment has been designed for the organised transport of up to 10 60 mm mortar rounds. The long zip allows the backpack to be fully opened flat, ensuring quick and convenient access to the entire contents, while the internal divider provides additional protection. The zip is protected by a collar sewn into the lower part, which shields it from mechanical damage. The interior on both the front and the back panel is covered with tapes compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing the equipment layout to be customised. The 20 tape loops included in the set allow stable attachment of the carried ammunition.
MOLLE system, velcro panel on the front
On the front there is a laser-cut MOLLE/PALS panel with a layout of seven cells horizontally and nine rows vertically, allowing compatible pouches, organisers, or other tactical accessories to be attached. Additional panels compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system are located on the sides and at the bottom of the backpack. MOLLE/PALS tapes have also been used across the entire interior surface. In the upper section there is a soft hook-and-loop panel measuring 5 × 9 cm, intended for attaching identification patches, unit markings, or emblems.
Carrying system
The backpack is equipped with wide, soft shoulder straps, which increase comfort when carrying a heavy load. The quick-release system is based on 25 mm buckles, allowing the backpack to be removed efficiently in a situation requiring immediate action. Backpack stability while marching is provided by the adjustable chest and waist straps. Transport handles are sewn in at the top and on the sides, allowing the backpack to be carried comfortably by hand or quickly removed from a vehicle.

MultiCam camouflage
MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
