The pads serve their purpose. They protect the elbows when scraping or hitting hard surfaces. They do not provide as much protection as hard protectors. I recommend them!
-
Universal neoprene inserts for the Vanguard set (pants + combat shirt). A good addition to the set, cushioning and joint protection when kneeling and lying down, and better insulation in adverse weather conditions. Mechanical and thermal comfort, 2 in 1!
-
Foam protectors. I use them in DA Vanguard pants as knee pads - they serve their purpose, although you shouldn't expect the same level of protection as with plastic ones. The fit is good, though there's a bit of looseness in the pocket - you can adjust it with the straps on the pants. Of course, they lower airflow/breathability a bit - that's not a flaw, just a feature of this solution. In my case - for several-hour stays at the shooting range up to 20°C they are fine. I recommend.

Perfectly fitted to Vanguard uniforms from Direct Action. Protection level - good. Just regular foam like in Helikon protectors. The price reflects the quality.
-
Great addition to the Direct Action combat shirt.
-
O.k they do their job.
-
Everything's OK, they come in handy.
-
They cushion well, but are a bit too small for some pant models.
-
They absorb shocks well. Perfect for use in the forest and at the shooting range. I recommend.
